Description:

Essential Experience:

• Be familiar with risk management concepts and the company's risk appetite, with previous experience in working a credit risk role, ideally with direct experience of credit risk responsibility
• Have experience in delivering/overseeing high quality analysis and materials, incorporating business, regulatory and risk perspectives
• Be able to undertake strategic planning, and to understand and support the strategic aims of the Sabadell UK management with regard to credit risk management
• Line management experience or exposure to looking after a team
• Understand the role of the first line credit risk within the three lines of defence and interact with the second and third line as appropriate
• Be able to understand and analise in depth corporate capital structures, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies and risk management
• Be proficient in use of valuation, ratings and credit risk models and management of related tools
• Be able to engage in detailed commercial and strategic discussions, engaging with unfamiliar concepts to the level of detail that is required for the specific task
• A proficient level of English is required and spoken Spanish is desirable
