Are you looking for a new challenge?

Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Group Ledger Supervisor to join the Finance Team based in Stafford. This is a permanent, full time position working 37 hours per week.

You will provide support to the Group Ledger Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Group\'s Purchase/Sales ledger transactions, ensuring accuracy and building relationships with customers and suppliers both internally and externally.

You will also provide support with the administration of the OnPay supplier portal and purchase ordering system and to encourage the use of these systems throughout the business.

Job requirements:

To support the day to day management of the Accounts payable and Sales ledgers of all group companies, ensuring that tasks are carried out accurately and ledgers are maintained in an effective up to date manner.

To oversee the production of weekly payment runs BACS, cheques, sundry payments and ensure that remittances are sent out via email.

To resolve telephone and written queries raised by suppliers and internal colleagues on a day to day basis.

To ensure the supplier\'s statement reconciliation process is adhered to and all queries are dealt with prior to sign off by the Group Ledger Manager.

To monitor the authorisation of invoices to ensure the groups liabilities are paid on time.

What our client are looking for:

Experience of working within a deadline driven environment.

*

At least 3 years purchase ledger experience

*

Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

*

Computer skills: general IT skills and excellent working knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables, lookups).

*

Able to build and develop effective working relationships with others to meet shared goals, using negotiation and influencing skills in order to achieve successful outcomes.
