Our Multinational client in the Banking sector is looking for a graduate to join their team as a Credit Risk Officer to join a fast-paced team during a period of significant growth on a permanent basis with an opportunity to kickstart your career in banking with a salary of £20,000 on offer.

What does the role entail?

As the Credit Risk Officer, you will undertake detailed financial and income analysis as part of the review for new applications. You will be liaising and building relationships with outside suppliers and creating reports and returns for the team. You will support the team and assist the Deputy Head of Credit Risk on projects and provide greater network advice and support. You will also be keeping ahead of the game ensuring to plan and manage your workload, accordingly, supporting colleagues and maintaining excellent relationships with both colleagues and customers. You will also look to provide support on administration regarding Credit risk principles and ensure all credit risk work is carried out to the required level of competence as set out by the legal & regulatory office.

What skills will you have?

To be progressed for this Credit Risk Officer position you will ideally have worked within a similar office based role as the one listed above, however, the client is happy to look at graduates, on top of this you will be a team player, as well as organised and thorough with your approach to getting stuck in into all tasks required of you. You will have experience of working under pressure and communicating details effectively and professionally with staff and customers of all levels. Proficiency in the Microsoft suite and experience in administration and a desire to make a career in banking is a plus.
