Graduate Credit Risk Analyst

The successful candidate will join a thriving team of analysts giving them exposure and insights into the industry. By producing and distributing management information, together with undertaking more in-depth analyses and projects, you will support the strategic development of the business.

Some Responsibilities of a graduate credit risk analyst:

  • Upload/maintain financial/legal/credit information onto the relevant systems.
  • Performing detailed and well-documented analysis to support the development of strategies, policies, and processes.
  • Undertaking detailed and potentially complex projects to support the development of strategies, policies, models and processes in the wider business, working mainly with other colleagues in the wider risk function.
  • Delivering insightful and focused credit risk reporting & analysis for the management team on a regular and ad hoc basis.
  • Assist with producing, tracking, and administering documentation.

Suitable candidates will have the following experience and skillset:

  • Analytically minded.
  • Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel
  • Methodical approach to investigation but with the ability to see and think outside the box when required, can see "the bigger picture".
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and thorough approach to quality of output required at all times.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads for optimum performance.
  • Ability to deliver presentations to all levels of colleagues and tailor the message accordingly.
  • A relevant degree with previous industry or risk experience being desirable.
  • Enthusiastic "can do" attitude.
  • Knowledge of analytical software such as SAS, SQL, etc. would be beneficial
