The Special Situations desk is part of a street-leading Leverage Finance business, sitting within the Global Credit Products division. The Special Situations desk is a client-facing desk with its own capital.

This is a desk analyst role for the special situations team. The desk analyst role is tasked with identifying and analysing topical credit situations ranging from stressed to defaulted credits, with the objective of developing profitable ideas for the desk and its clients. The analyst team consists of 4 people working very closely with the Special Situations and also the Par Loans trading desks. Analytical input is crucial in decisions to take on risk and we are looking for a French speaker who is able to make an impact and gain recognition quickly.

You Offer

• Fluency in French is an essential prerequisite
• Familiarity with high yield bonds and leveraged loans and related standard documentation is required
• Relevant candidates will have a background in Distressed or Special Situations, either on the buy or the sell side, or alternatively in restructuring advisory / Leveraged finance.
• Familiarity with documentation / structural / legal issues typically encountered in this space is a strong plus
