German Speaking Credit Controller - Glasgow - Salary £20,000 - 21,000 p/a

Are you a fluent German speaker? Are you a motivated and organised individual? Are you looking for a new opportunity to join a growing business based just outside of Glasgow?

We are currently working with a growing, global business based just outside of Glasgow (on-site parking available) who are looking for fluent German speakers to join their credit control team on a permanent basis. For this role we are looking to speak to motivated and organised individuals who have experience within a telephony customer service or administrative environment who are looking to move into a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for reaching out to customers to secure payments for outstanding invoices as well as providing excellent service daily.

This is a full-time, permanent role working core business hours with a competitive salary available from £20,000 - 21,000 p/a. This position currently offers remote working with the view of returning to office in 2022.

Are you who we are looking for?

You are fluent in German and English languages both written and spoken

You have experience within a telephony customer service and administrative role (credit control/collections is preferred but not essential)

You are highly organised and have excellent time and diary management

You have a strong attention to detail

You are able to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

You enjoy working individually and as part of a wider team environment

You are able to work to your own initiative to complete assigned tasks

You enjoy building key relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What is the day to day like?

Performing and evaluating credit checks on new customer accounts according to company policies daily

Contacting customers daily by telephone with regards to payments and any outstanding invoices

Planning and prioritising all customer calls and actions daily, ensuring regular contact to maximise collections

Handling any queries or complaints in a professional manner

Building and maintaining key relationships with external clients and stakeholders

Ensuring credit limits are in place for accounts within specific areas

Following all company policies and procedures

Liaising with various business departments daily

Processing all payments on the internal system in a timely and accurate manner

Ensuring all information is recorded and accurate on the internal system, especially relating to any actions taken or scheduled follow ups

Completing any reporting as requested
