Are you an experienced Finance Assistant with strong Sales Ledger / Accounts Receivable experience, or are you an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk, looking for your next challenge? Are you looking to work for a dynamic, entrepreneurial, medium sized consultancy firm based in the heart of the City, Central London? Are you looking to work in a firm where you can utilise your Xero experience? Based in a finance team of 5, your role will be varied and include: generation of monthly invoice schedules for managers, setting up new clients onto Xero, invoicing, credit notes, prepare figures for weekly sales invoicing meetings, sales VAT coding and ensuring all sales invoices are accurately recorded onto Xero. You will also be responsible for reconciling cash receipts: daily reconciliation of cash receipts in bank to sales invoices in Xero, weekly updates of cash receipts and monitor and reconcile debtor control account on a weekly basis. Your role will be varied and challenging and you will have the opportunity to recommend improvements to the existing systems and processes in place.

To be considered for this newly created role (January 2022) you must have at least 3 to 5 years experience within Sales Ledger / Accounts Receivable duties, ideally with experience of all the above duties. You must have experience of using Xero or be very strong using other accountancy software. You must also be strong in IT and be looking to get the best out of Xero in order to improve processes and procedures within the company. Ideally you will have experience working in a small or medium sized, fast paced environment. You must be a team player, be able to work to tight deadlines and have great attention to detail and accuracy. You must also look to improve processes and efficiency and enhance the effectiveness of current software. The company will consider candidates studying the AAT / ACCA, are fully qualified or who are qualified by experience.
