The Role
You will be joining a high performing finance team and working on the following tasks:
* Obtaining payment of aged retention balances from customers working in the construction industry.
* Analysing financial data and preparing documents for submission to customers to assist in the collection of outstanding balances.
* Recording details of telephone calls, emails and other correspondence with customers who have been chased for payment.
* Performing other accounting-related tasks to support colleagues in the finance team.
Skills and attributes required
* Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to focus on high priority tasks in order to meet deadlines and performance targets.
* Practical and well developed problem-solving skills.
* Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to build a rapport with colleagues in other departments.
Working hours / remuneration
* Monday - Friday, normal office hours. Some flexibility in start and finish times may be possible, subject to negotiation.

* Initially working from home due to lockdown restrictions. As restrictions are lifted you may be required to attend the company's offices for certain work-related tasks. The offices are modern and provide a pleasant working environment.
