Finance and Ledger Manager required for a medium sized Not for Profit organisation in Liverpool. A company who have clear plans and a development program in place to grow in to a larger scale organisation within the next couple of years.

The role is team for a progressive individual looking to develop their management skills and responsibility with a company who will support you along the way. You will be experienced in processing transactional accounts with a high attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.

Description

As the Finance and Ledger Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up, running and daily management of the accounts payable, accounts receivable, debtors and purchase order accounts
  • Daily posting and reconciliation of transactions
  • Dealing with charge increases, write-offs, additional sales and direct debit payments
  • Responsible for credit control and managing the production of debt recovery processes
  • Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts ensuring VAT coding is correct
  • Month end close

Profile

To be successful as the Finance and Ledger Manager you will:

Experienced in supervising a small team of transactional processing staff
Proven experience in running and completing tasks accurately towards KPIs
Ability to drive change and implement new ideas and processes
Analyse and interpret reports and data
