Mpeople Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a wonderful business that has been going through a period of tremendous growth based in Heywood.


Full-time: 9am-5.30pm - 1 Hour Lunch


25 days holiday + statutory

Free on-site parking

You would be working in a small team of 4, reporting to the Financial Controller; this role will work alongside the existing Purchase Ledger Clerk, sharing the workload to ensure a smooth and efficient Accounts Payable function.

Responsibilities include:

* Processing approx. 250 invoices per week

* Bank Reconciliations

* Matching, Batching & Coding invoices

* Supplier Statement Reconciliations

* Maintaining administration standards throughout the finance function

* Improving current processes for the Purchase Ledger function as & when needed

* Adhoc tasks requested by the FC

Experience & Skill Requirements:

* Vast experience within a Purchase ledger position

* Strong Excel knowledge

* Knowledge of Sage software highly beneficial

* Great attention to detail

* Ability to work as part of a team
