Director - Credit Risk Issues Management

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Wholesale Credit Risk Issues Management Forum, to ensure that all thematic Wholesale Credit related issues across ICG are proactively and appropriately identified, analysed and presented to the 1st and 2nd line of defence Senior Stakeholders
* Lead global Issues Management team, covering both BAU and transformation e.g. Consent Order, aspects and its hand-offs to the various teams across ICG as well as within the department
* Setup and lead ICM's Business Risk and Controls Committee (BRCC); embed the required governance and reporting across ICM and ICM's partners
* Coordinate high profile and time-sensitive issues through their lifecycle, from initiation to closure
* Facilitate working group comprised of banks partner teams to ensure thematic issues are appropriately and proactively identified, reviewed, discussed and escalated to the Governance Forum
* Work closely with partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving data gathering and data management across wholesale credit issue management
* Continuously improve processes and establish best practices for use in the Issues Management space
* Build relationships with the various Issues Management partners across the ICG and Wholesale Credit
* Create and implement appropriate analysis methodology (sourcing, normalization, tagging, aggregation, etc.)
* Participate as an SME in the relevant Consent Order workstream/s, and advocate for robust but practical solutions

* Proven PMO and Issue Management coordination experience of at least 12 years in the financial services industry
* Proven experience in building out and managing high performing teams
* Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
* Able to assess and synthesize issues
* Solid understanding of the wider risk and controls frameworks
* Extensive experience in interacting across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of defense teams
* Able to define the agenda / material for senior stakeholders
* Successful in running high profile Governance Forums
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent problem solving skills; ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details
