Change Recruitment are working very closely with a first class Financial Services client based who are looking to strengthen their Credit Risk Modelling function

In these roles, you'll help to secure the foundations of business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative analysis across the model suite, providing solutions to support the acquisition of new business, risk-based account management and manage the bank's capital across its various portfolios.

The role is essentially about:
· Management of complex model development projects and analysis; providing input into the scoping, design, development, validation and implementation of business models, in line with Bank standards and regulatory compliance requirements
· Undertaking statistical modelling and data analysis to support the development of the banks business models in line with bank standards and compliance requirements.
· Provide first class model documentation and recommendation papers to governance committees
· Present output to key stakeholders both within and external to Group Credit Models
· Lead ongoing model management through model annual reviews and model performance monitoring.
· Ensuring full compliance with all internal and external governance, legal and regulatory obligations.
· Supporting management credit risk analysts, prioritising tasks and developing technical capabilities.
· Gain support for model changes from key stakeholders both within and external to Group Credit Models.
· Deputise for the Operational Manager.
· Participate in and facilitate networks internally and across the wider Bank

To be considered for these roles, you'll ideally have some of the following:
· Experience in Banking and Risk Management
· Experience in an environment that drives strong commercial understanding and utilises the interpretation of complex data collation and analysis to identify effective data and systems capabilities.
· Experience of model development projects across a range of Retail or Non-Retail credit portfolios with an understanding of model usage
· Strong analytical skills with a good degree in a numerate discipline subject (e.g. maths, statistics, economics etc).
· The ability to solve complex problems independently.
· Expertise in the use of statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SAS) as well as MS Office
· Excellent communication, listening and writing skills. An ability present analysis, both written and verbally, in a clear, concise and confident manner.
· Ability to overcome obstacles, be accountable and use your initiative to do the right thing
