Credit Risk Analyst - Provision and Forecasting

You'll be working as a credit risk analyst within the provision and forecasting team. You will be supporting the team who are responsible for estimating credit loss reserves and for forecasting future credit losses over a range of different scenarios.

You'll be supporting the risk manager and head of provision and forecasting to ensure IFRS9 models are in line with End User Computing (EUC) and SOX standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing monthly reporting; Monitoring and updating highly complex statistical models for the calculation of IFRS9 provisions
  • Improving processes around Retail IFRS9 provisions calculations to support finance in the calculation of business impacts, Identify risks and dependencies
  • Engaging across various departments such as Finance, Risk and Group on a regular basis
  • Supporting the Stress Testing team with ICAAP, EBA requests and climate risk
  • Working with other team members to learn current processes and develop expert Risk knowledge

What we're looking for

  • Must have previous SAS experience
  • Previous knowledge of retail banking credit risk
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience of successfully leading and delivering on multiple complex projects and initiatives
  • Ability to synthesise complex issues and explain them easily to non-technical audiences
