CREDIT CONTROLLER

CLIENT BASED IN WETHERBY - IMMEDIATE STARY 12 MONTH FTC Maternity wIth possible Permanent Opportunity

£22,000 PLUS £4K BONUS INCENTIVE

One of my renowned clients based in Wetherby, is looking for an experienced Credit Controller that ideally has a good knowledge & understanding of reading company accounts and debt management.

This is initially a12 month fixed contract to start immediately, responsible for 800 key client ledger accounts.

Lovely office environment, very friendly atmosphere and fun culture.

Customer service is essential for this role as these are ongoing key customer accounts you will be managing.

The role is 35 hours per week (08.30 - 16.45 Mon to Fri) managing the 800 credit ledgers for UK customers of around

£12 million. INITAILLY YOU WILL BE WORKING FROM HOME FOR THE FIRST 6 MONTHS

Chasing debt by telephone and email

Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statement

Liaising with the sales ad accounts teams to resolve outstanding queries

Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations to credit insurers

Investigating and resolving queries relating to none payment of invoices

Working to strict monthly an annual collection targets

Processing credit limit

Managing aged debt

Release of new sales orders once credit approved

Customer reminders

7-day court action requirements

Monthly management reporting - excellent Microsoft Word & Excel needed

You will need to have previous experience of working in a busy and pressure finance department with excellent exposure to credit control or debt management.

This is a lovely fun office environment - the office team are super friendly and make the days go faster with a giggle.

Excellent Excel skills, a polite but tenacious telephone manner and good systems knowledge is what we are looking for.

In addition the position includes an excellent 25 days holiday + bank holidays, free parking.
