Credit Controller | Leeds | Permanent | £21,000 - £26,000 per annumThe Talent Crowd are working with an award-winning legal firm in Leeds City Centre to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a Permanent basis.As the successful Credit Controller, you will be from a legal or professional services background, be able to build and maintain client and internal relationships, while working on your own and as part of a team.Duties of the credit controller will include:

Operation of the in-house credit control system
Working in conjunction with the wider Finance team to run firm wide Credit Control
Processing the payment chasing process through email and phone using the escalation processes
Producing monthly reporting by department
Attending appropriate debt review meetings with Department Heads and Fee Earners
Resolving internal and external queries relating to invoices
Regularly reviewing the Credit Control Policies and Procedures Manual
Any other duties within the scope of the role

Essential key skills and experience:

Calm, confident, and empathetic manner to handle potentially difficult conversations

Competence in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel to a high standard and working knowledge of accounting software programmes

Excellent attention to detail

In return you will receive £21,000 - £26,000 per annum depending on experience.
