I am now recruiting for an international freight forwarding company in Basildon, who are searching for a confident credit controller to join their growing team.
Offering some great benefits and career progression opportunities, this role would be excellent for someone who has a minimum of 3 years' experience in credit control and sales ledger roles.
Salary: £25,000-£28,000 per annum
Location: Basildon (office-based)
Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Your role will include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers through excellent communication.
- Opening accounts for new customers in a timely and efficient way.
- Chasing outstanding payments through debt collection.
- Maintaining and updating the sales ledger database.
- Resolving any invoice queries with customers.
- Ensuring debt is kept below 3 months.
- Processing sales ledger transactions to enable to closure of ledgers.
- Producing management information in relation to KPIs.
