Are you a Credit Controller with a keen eye for detail?
Reed Accountancy & Finance are looking for a Credit Controller, to work in Erith, reporting to the Key Account Team Leader, in the Key accounts team. The team are responsible for 290+ key accounts, ensuring sales invoicing is completed accurately and on a timely basis using various different customer platforms; cash is allocated on a timely basis; and customer queries are addressed in a timely manner.
My client are a leading industrial consumable products provider with over 400 companies and a global workforce of 64,000. In the business year 2020, they generated total sales in excess of EUR 14.41 billion.
As a Credit Controller, your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Issue invoices and statements to key account customers and meet customer specific requirements including electronic transfer (EDI) and uploading to customer portals.
- Liaising directly with Customers, Key Account Management or Customer Services to identify queries with the accounts.
- Support Customers & Key Account Managers where necessary.
- Proactive calls to customers/customer services to ensure invoices are paid in accordance with due dates.
Required skills include:
- Sales Ledger/credit control experience using SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills including Vlookups & Pivot Tables.
- Knowledge of the processes behind Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) invoicing and ensuring resolution of all errors and queries received.
- A confident team member with a keen eye for detail, ability to work to deadlines and always looking for ways to improve processes.
