Based in Park Royal / Acton, West London

A well-established Commercial Utilities company based in Park Royal/ Acton, West London is looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their busy and friendly teams

You will be assigned a portfolio of customers to manage debts for. You will be working within a Team of 2 other credit controllers and 1 offshore controller.

Your duties will include:

• Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions
• Setting up repayments
• Dealing with invoice and credit related queries
• Ensuring customers pay on time and charge them for overdue invoices
• Starting disconnection/legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time
• Liaising with Solicitors and Bailiffs
• Maintaining accurate records
• Implementing changes in the company's credit control system

Key Skills and Experience:

• A decision maker with very good communication and people skills, has to be able to handle pressure and stay calm in difficult situations.
• Resilient and self-motivated
• 2 years min in credit control
• Good at using in house and accounting systems
• Excel- intermediate
• Must live in an easy commute to Acton, West London
