Description:

Octavia Zydel is currently supporting a VC backed media agency (B2B) company in the search for a positive and proactive Credit Controller. You will be responsible for providing key support to the finance department for billings and collections, as well as supporting the process and policy implementation on how collections are handled.

Important Elements:

• The salary benchmark for this role is £35-£40k.
• Preference for this role is an immediate start and we will look at a contractor should the right person have a notice period.
• Flexible working is standard, but you need to be within commutable distance of the London HQ because you will need to be in the office at appropriate times.

Day-to-Day:

• Take full ownership of the Credit Control function.
• Production of Daily Receipt Reporting.
• Post cash and allocate payments using remittances or payment reports.
• Maintain and develop relationships with all clients and also with internal employees.
• File all remittances and payment reports in an organised way for audit purposes.
• Chasing of all overdue balances or short payments to ensure timely recovery.
• Produce credit notes and re-invoices when necessary.
• Provide copy invoices and Statement of Accounts for clients when necessary.
• Special attention to focus prevention of debts ageing to 90-120 days.
• Creating new accounts associated housekeeping.
• WIP Reporting.
