Description:

NG Bailey have a fantastic opportunity for credit controller to join our team based in Leeds. This is a permanent staff role with NG Bailey, and once training is complete we can offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.In this role you will be responsible for managing the debtors of the business, including bank management and reconciliations. This is a diverse and challenging role for the right candidate with real opportunity for them to put their own mark on improving our credit control management processes and reporting. Experience in a credit control or financial administration position would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.Responsibilities
  • Manage the debtors to gain payment within the given terms
  • Own the disputed debtors processes, reporting disputes to the relevant persons within the business
  • Monitor and manage unallocated cash
  • Allocate cash received/company bank and bank reconciliation
  • Provide timely reports to the senior credit controller for review and discussion on overdue debtors for cash calls, disputed debtors and cash collection
  • Raise sales invoices and credit notes
Requirements
  • Administration experience
  • Good excel skills
  • Good telephone manner, tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to stand by a decision
  • Able to take on a broad/compromising view, be a good problem solver and motivator
  • Cash collection experience (desirable)
  • Payment reconciliation to ledger good accuracy (desirable)
  • Reconciliations ledger and bank (desirable)
  • Understanding of long term contract accounting (desirable)
  • Experience of designing and implementing management information and reporting (desirable)
