Candidates must have:

* Previous accounts experience within a busy Finance team; including credit control and cash posting experience.
* The ability to manage a large workload and meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and previous experience of using financial systems.
* Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

* Daily chasing of debt by both telephone and email.
* Carrying out credit checks for potential new clients.
* Processing, monitoring and controlling sales ledger transactions.
* Reconciling client accounts and cash book against posted receipts.
* Updating cash book and posting daily receipts to the accounts system.
* Liaising with operational staff to resolve queries.
* Liaising with customers in relation to their accounts and any outstanding invoices.
* Ensuring all records are kept in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements.
