Credit Controller

Description:

Brand new Credit Controller role for a thriving and well-established client based in Bracknell. This role would suit someone with previous experience in a Credit Control role who can hit the ground running.

Salary - Up to £25,000

Location - Bracknell

Benefits - Life assurance, 26 days holiday + bank holidays, 37 hours per week

The role of Credit Controller:

  • Chasing overdue payment via phone, email and letter where necessary
  • Working to pre-agreed targets to reduce debt and outstanding invoices in a timely manner
  • Dealing with any queries (internally and externally) to ensure timely resolution of any issues
  • Taking and processing card payments
  • Completing daily banking to include posting, identification and allocation
  • Opening and setting up new accounts
  • Assess and update credit files with online credit agency

To be successful in the role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Proficient with Microsoft packages (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • use of Access Dimensions preferred but not essential as training can be provided
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a similar sales ledger / credit control role
  • Attention to detail is paramount to be successful
