Credit Controller

The role

We are currently looking for a Credit Controller in Ipswich to help support the team ensuring that our customers pay promptly in accordance with our agreed payment terms.

This role reports to the Sales Ledger Manager and will work closely with our clients and the rest of the Finance team to ensure that we are able to collect monies in a timely and professional manner in order to enhance cash flow and minimise bad debts. This will include maintaining the UK and Irish sales ledgers meeting targets set for debtor days each month, dealing with customer account queries, processing weekly cash flow, referring to credit checking agency system for customer credit limits, generating statements for customers, producing correspondence to begin process of recovering debts and liaising with solicitors regarding debts requiring legal action.

This is role is a pivotal part of the Finance team and you will be a key point of contact with our customers.

This is an ideal role for someone with some previous experience in a credit control department who is looking to work for a large international organisation and develop skills that will allow them to take their career further.
