I am currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a professional organisation based in Wakefield. Working as part of a team you will be responsible for all aspects of credit control, therefore applicants must have experience of working in a similar role.

Duties will include;

  • All aspects of credit control, including chasing payment for all overdue invoices by telephone, letter, and e-mail
  • Diarising all responses and ensuring that client notes are kept up to date
  • Assist in dealing with client queries effectively
  • Liaising with the internal staff to help resolve queries
  • Identifying and posting received payments to the client ledger
  • Liaising with/supporting other colleagues within the Department.

Successful applicants must show a highly motivated, pro-active, professional, and team-working attitude. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the need to prioritise a busy workload.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Applicants must have GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at Grade C or above and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
