As our Credit Controller, you will ensure the security and profitability of Bibby through efficient and effective credit control of a portfolio of clients. You will also administer and maintain the client ledgers as adequate security base for the lending, and establish and maintain a professional and efficient relationship with their allocated portfolio of clients.

Your key duties as our Credit Controller will include:

  • Providing prompt feedback on the quality of debts on the quality of debtor ledgers to the Relationship Teams
  • Ensuring security & profitability of a portfolio of clients through efficient and effective Credit Control
  • Providing a high level of service through credit control and ledger maintenance
  • Ensuring ledgers are well maintained and accurate
  • Proactively seeking to understand their clients and debtors to allow them to spot opportunities
  • Proactively seeking to understand their clients and debtors to allow them to spot both warning signs
  • Any other duties or projects commensurate with the level of responsibility of this role, for which the role holder has the necessary experience and/or training

What we are looking for in our ideal Credit Controller:

  • Customer Service experience
  • Office environment experience
  • Good communication, excellent customer service, attention to detail
  • Basic IT & MS office skills, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Credit Control experience in a financial service environment is desirable
