Credit Controller

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working alongside a successful & innovative Manufacturing company based in Leeds as they look to appoint an experienced & professional Credit Controller into their finance team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking self-motivated and trustworthy Credit Controller as this will be a very varied position to cover cash collection, cash posting and maintenance of the ledger for allocated accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:

- Chase debtors for payment by telephone and email
- Open new customer accounts and obtain trade references
- Maintain credit limits and assess risk of existing customers
- Liaise with Customer Service and Sales Reps to resolve invoice queries
- Post and allocate customer payments
- Bank reconciliation
- Account reconciliation
- General Admin duties
- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

- Minimum of 3 years experience within business to business sector
- All round duties from credit check analysis to cash collection
- Ability and confidence to make own decisions
- Ability to work in a noisy environment
- Work on own initiative
- Assertive but not demanding
