Credit Controller

We are recruiting for one of our lovely clients who are looking for candidates ideally from a credit control background however we are also open for candidates from an office background who are confident and comfortable getting on the telephone to customers and be able to ask for payment whilst still maintaining a great relationship.

The nature of credit control needs somebody who is fairly self-motivated and happy to churn through work without getting bored as it could get repetitive.

Very good benefits in terms of;

Great basic salary £22,000 - £25,000

No weekend or bank holidays, shut down at Christmas

Holiday 22 days a year increasing to 25 days length of service PLUS Bank Holidays

FT Hours 7:30am - 4:30pm half hour lunch

Hours of work: 7:30-4:30 Monday to Friday

For the Credit Controller position you should have experience speaking to customers over the phone with the ability to solve any potential issues quickly and effectively and strong attention to detail

Credit Controller Responsibilities:

· Ensure prompt payment of invoices

· Following-up with customers who have invoices overdue

· Resolving any queries that could be delaying payment

· Building relationships to improve credit control and reduce risk

· Escalating customer accounts to management

· Reporting

· Reviewing customer account limits
