Credit Controller

Description:

Our client based in Hertfordshire is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy team. To qualify for this role you must be have the ability to work under pressure and possess a knowledge of accounts and understand the journey required to fullfil this role.

Duties:

* Take a proactive role in managing and collecting debts owed

* Managing accounts

* Ensuring timely payment of debt

* Following up payments when needed

* Negotiating repayment plans

* Responding to queries, complaints and general enquiries

* Sending letters to debtors

* Preparation of statements

Skills:

* Attention to detail

* Excellent written and verbal skills

* Analytical to solve problems

* Excellent IT skills for creating spreadsheets and documents
