A NEW opportunity has arisen to join a leader in their industry!

Our client, based near to Harrogate is currently looking to recruit a Credit Controller join their team on a full time permanent basis, with an immediate start available!

You will be managing the core Credit Control duties for the company.

Your main duties will include:

* Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales

* Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity

* Regularly contacting customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary

* Ensure that all transactions are compliant with Company\'s policies

* Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms

* Provide accurate advice on billing queries

* Setting up new client accounts

* Preparing sales invoices

* Overseeing some accounts

Our client is looking for someone with experience across the finance department, particularly credit control and Sales Ledger. You will have a confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills. You will be numerate and have an organised and methodical approach to your work load. You will be responsible for managing the ledger so must be able to work on your own initiative.

Salary flexible - around £22k - £25k, however negotiable depending on experience.

Own transport is required due to the location of the role.
