Our client is looking for an ambitious Credit Controller to join their award-winning company. They are an industry leader who are currenty setting the standard, comitted to raising the bar each and every day.
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for chasing unpaid invoices for the business and ensuring that all the debt has been paid. You will have your very own portfolio, and you will have accountability for your portfolio by proactively chasing customers for payment and leading by example. You will be keeping ledgers tidy and working hard in order to ensure that the debt is kept to a minimum.
The ideal candidate will be able to work extremely well under pressure. Decision making will also be key, as you will be advising on what accounts, if any, will require legal action.
What we are looking for:
Proven credit control or arrears collection experience Experience in a B2C credit controller/collections role. Experience with liaising with members of the public. Excellent analytical and influencing skills. Energetic, decisive and a team player. IT Literate. Key Objectives:
Managing overpayments, including chasing payments and contacting the legal team if necessary Provide weekly and monthly arrears reports to management, commenting on progress, escalate if needed, including payments due to be made and outstanding debts Managing the outstanding payments list Responsible for contacting all Guardians to collect arrears owed (21 days) Escalate overdue accounts to credit control supervisor Keeping Customer Accounts up-to date Dealing with Contact clients to chase payments by following the process outlined by Head of Credit Control.
