Credit Controller

Tripleplay is a manufacturer of audience engagement technology and software incorporating the ONELAN and Reserva brands. Its core product set includes IPTV technologies, digital signage, enterprise video and room booking. Tripleplay offers products and services designed to meet the needs of enterprise customers including corporate users, education, retailers, hospitality, stadia and residential premises. Tripleplay's interactive solutions offer scalability and relevance simplifying complex or diverse messages visualised on any device or display.

Tripleplay is looking to recruit an Credit Controller based in our Poole office. If you have experience in a Credit Control role, having previously worked in a multi-currency, multi country organisation, then this is the ideal opportunity to put those skills to the test and work within a fast-growing software company.

Credit Controller - Key Responsibilities and Tasks

As the Credit Controller for Tripleplay business unit of Uniguest, you'll have the opportunity of overseeing all debts owed to Tripleplay from existing creditors and manage the new requests for credit. You will be responsible for:

* Familiarising yourself with all credit control, accounting, quality and other relevant company procedures ensuring that these are strictly adhered to.

* Ensuring customers pay within their agreed payment terms, chasing payments if necessary.

* Proactive in checking and chasing of invoices, resolving customer enquiries and complaints.

* Checking customer's credit and approve or deny applications based on company standards and requirements.

* Setting and controlling credit limits based on external reports and your understanding of the clients.

* Producing weekly/monthly debtors reports.

* Ensuring great relationships are established with customers, suppliers and internal colleagues.

* Advising and escalating to Assistant Controller any customers that are a potential risk.

* Assisting with Purchase Ledger when required.

* Raising Sales Orders and Reconciliation work when required.

* Raising and sending invoices and credit notes when required.

Credit Controller - Key Skills

To be considered for this superb opportunity, you must have knowledge of the following gained through your studies, commercial experience or similar:

* Experience of working in a multi-currency, multi country organisation.

* Sage 50/200 experience preferred and understanding of recognised accounting systems.

* Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and be able to demonstrate experience in the production of complex spreadsheets and financial reports.

* Excellent communication skills internally and externally.

* Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.

* Demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgement showing logical decision making and a hands-on approach.

* Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
