Jive Recruitment are partnering with an exceptional client based in East Lancashire who are looking for a Credit Controller with a sound knowledge of finance to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to manage the full end-to-end process and become a valued and integral part of the finance team. You will be responsible for:

* Chasing outstanding debts and ensuring customers pay on time

* Setting up new clients on the system and carrying out credit checks

* Raising applications

* Producing invoices and receipts

* Bank reconciliations

* Ensuring customers pay on time

* Negotiating payment terms

* Sorting out rebates and filing

* Checking VAT

* Dealing with invoice queries by email and phone

* Filing invoices

* General administration and supporting finance team when required

Your Profile:

* Experience working within Sales Ledger/ Credit Control

* Excellent problem-solving skills

* Confident, organised and good sense of judgement

* Analytical, open-minded and comfortable having challenging conversations

* Sound decision making

* Attention to detail

* Good IT skills

In return, you will be offered a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. You will have access to the company pension and will be entitled to 25 days holiday + Statutory days. Free parking available on site.
