Walters People have partnered with a leading organisation based in Dudley who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller on a permanent basis in a newly created role due to continued growth.
This position would best suit a driven individual who has a minimum 2 years previous experience working in a busy, fast paced collections environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:
You will be responsible for Debt management and collection of customer accounts across your own section of a ledger to achieve agreed collection targets.

* Provide reports on performance of accounts
* To control and monitor the daily debt
* Monitor cash allocation and propose corrective action on
* allocated accounts where needed
* To ensure correct procedures and processes are in place as per credit policy established to chase payments from customers on a regular basis
* To ensure all daily task are achieved i.e. unallocated cash, taking accounts off dispute, chase customers when promise to pay date fails to result in payment
* Ensure that your customers are your first priority and excellent customer service is delivered at all time
* Manage a high level workload and pick up any ad hoc projects to support the department
* Other general administrative duties associated within the Finance Shared Service Centre

Essential Experience as the Credit Controller:

* Two years of experience working within a similar role
* Deliver to strict guidelines and to tight deadlines
* Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy whilst meeting deadlines
* Excellent IT skills including Word/Excel inc Pivot Tables
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible
* Good spoken & written communication skills
* Good organisational skills
* Show passion with a 'can do' attitude
