Credit Controller

Description:

You will be reporting into the Credit Control Manager on a daily basis, working from home initially. You will be continuously working towards strict deadlines whilst managing a portion of the sales ledger. You will need to have a working knowledge of financial procedures and establish and maintain good working relationships internally and externally.

Our client is within the education sector based in Liverpool City Centre, however this role will be working from home initially from the beginning. A client that prides themselves on the award winning education they provide to students worldwide. Due to a very busy time for them, they do require extra pair of hands for the next 12 months.

Description

To ensure that monies owed to them are collected within terms by managing a portion of the
Sales Ledger
* Maintain accurate Customer records
* Contacting customers by various means to pursue outstanding debts
* To maintain various databases to ensure financial data is accurate and up to date
* Adhere to monthly and quarterly deadlines in accordance with the clients financial calendar
* To perform ad-hoc duties requested by line manager or other senior member of staff

Profile

Studying towards AAT or CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified
Experience working within credit control prior
Used to working towards tight deadlines
Exceptional organisational and communication skills

12 months fixed term contract within credit control
£21200 salary
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm ( Flexible working hours )
Working from home initially
