Description:

London Tower Crane Hire & Sales Ltd is based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

Due to expansion, we are seeking a Credit Controller to join our team.

Responsibilities:

* Day-to-day assistance for all aspects of the sales ledger

* Assist collection work including administration duties

* To undertake any other work- related request as specified by management in order to meet all departmental objectives.

* Dealing with a large value accounts and building relationships

* Liaising with customers to ensure payment is received on time

* Customer query resolution

* Account reconciliations

* Maintaining various spreadsheets

* Chasing debt via phone and email

* Other ad-hoc duties

* Reporting weekly/monthly on all activities and results

* Chair weekly meetings with sales team

* Checking supporting documentation received

Requirements:

* A minimum of 2 years working in Accounts Department

* Proven debt control experience

* Ideally knowledge of the construction industry

* COINS / SAGE experience - ideal but not essential

* Liaise with staff at all levels

* A hands- on approach with a 'can- do' attitude

* Intermediate Excel user or above

* The ability to work under pressure

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with very polite but tenacious telephone manner

* Good organisational skills with an excellent eye for detail and high level of accuracy

* A problem solver

* Excellent time management
