This is an excellent opportunity, in a newly created role, to joins an acquisitive business that continues to flourish in the current climate. The position is to maintain the company's credit control and sales ledger function and ensure that customers' payments and invoice queries are dealt with efficiently and professionally.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for collection of due monies from their smaller commercial customers; allocating and reconciling receipts; reconciliation of receipts to the banking system; managing suppliers' statements and documentation; raising overdue notifications and managing client ledgers to ensure payments are received. Given that there a number of complex supplier accounts to manage there is a high degree of query resolution involved in this role.

As an individual you will have a stable and progressive career path to date in a similar credit/accounts receivable function. You must be a credit controller who values relationship building with really strong verbal communication skills. You will have excellent IT abilities including prior exposure to ERP systems and advanced Excel. You will be a confident individual with strong inter-personal skills with the emphasis on maintaining and developing customer relationships.
