We are recruiting for a Credit Controller working for our client based in Harrogate!

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be supporting the busy Finance department by providing timely and accurate management of credit control function for a UK Leader.

What you will be doing:

* Chasing customers for overdue payments

* Releasing "On Hold" orders and checking customers credit limits

* Chasing and resolving debit notes on customers' accounts

* Monitoring and tidying customers accounts, by the means of allocation on a monthly basis

* Working with sales teams to reduce overdue debt

* Reporting on and analysing overdue debt on a monthly basis

* Running and sending customer statements and dealing with any queries that might arise

What you will need:

* Proficient IT skill, specifically in Microsoft Excel

* Previous credit control experience, specifically working with debit notes

* Excellent organisation skills

* Effective communicator and excellent customer service skills

* A team player, but has the ability to use their initiative and effectively manage their workload

* Proactive and eager to learn

* Experience with Sage 200 is preferable but not essential

This role will start remotely until the office re opens. Standard working hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm!
