Credit Controller

This role is a fantastic opportunity with the main purpose of the role will be to provide first class credit control, assisting with queries and the collection of outstanding debts across their Group.

Our client is a market leading business that specialise in multiple industries. They have an office in Ayrshire where the Credit Control position will be based.

Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

Carry out daily credit control calls with the ability to adapt tone of call to suit the situation
Liaise with customers by phone\email\letter for payment of invoices
Manage and maintain customer account opening procedures
Maintain customer credit limits and check credit reports daily
Post and reconcile payments received daily and monthly
Ensure debt is recovered efficiently and minimise bad debt
Assist colleagues and sales personnel as and when required.
Produce manual invoices, when required.Profile

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

A minimum of three years' in all areas of credit control
Able to prioritise and organise your own workload, achieving deadlines
Able to build and grow relationships using effective interpersonal skills
An ability to work directly with customers
Your attitude must be that the customer is always right
Analytical and confident when analysing and interpreting data
Proficient in the use of spreadsheets (Excel) and IT, including Sagepay and Paypal
Flexible, hands-on, enthusiastic
Outstanding commitment as an individual and a team player
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A passion for service delivery and keen to learn and share ideasJob Offer

This role offers a competitive salary between £22,000-£26,000 plus benefits
