Description:
Established in 2000, Modern Networks provides information and communications technology solutions and support to businesses nationwide. We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to work from our Hitchin office - main duties will include:
* Allocating daily bank receipts to correct Accounts within accounting system (Sage 50) in accordance within agreed company policies.
* Contacting customers/bank to assist with obtaining remittances/bank details to ensure correctly allocated funds on the Accounting System
* Liaising with other Credit Controllers regarding queries with remittances and unallocated cash to accurately allocate cash
* Working to a deadline to ensure all funds are accurately allocated on the Accounting System
* Filing of all remittances on CRM system
* Making adjustments to the receiveables ledger in a timely manner
* Processing customer refunds on customer credit balances
* Completing monthly Direct Debit collation and uploading data to Direct Debit Bureau
* Keeping customer details up to date on internal systems
* Hands on responsibility for reducing overdue debt
* Credit control via phone and email Chasing overdue debts
* Management of legal process for overdue debts, including preparing court statements
* Developing process improvements and process maps for the Finance Team
Our ideal applicant will have previous experieince in the following:
* Working in a Credit Control position
* Using Sage 50 Accounting
* Using MS Excel and MS Word and all Microsoft applications
* Working closely with customers to resolve queries and issues
* Building exceptional working relationships internally and externally
* Working to tight deadlines
