As a member of the finance function you will be representing a modern and entrepreneurial construction company on the outskirts of Liverpool City Centre.

A friend and family run business specialising in large scale modem property development with an economical approach to luxurious living.

The role is ideal for an experienced Credit Controller managing small and large ledgers ideally from a construction background.

You will be responsible for:

* Analyse effectiveness of the company credit control system and implement changes
* Managing your own set of customer accounts
* Working closely with sales teams to resolve queries
* Credit Checking and setting up new customer accounts
* Be responsible for recovering payments over the phone and email
* Assign daily invoices, credit notes and receipts to the accounting system
* Negotiating repayments whilst dealing with BACS and Direct Debit payments
* Producing rapports including aged debt analysis
* Ad-hoc work to support the wider finance function

Skills, experience and requirements:

* Professional working experience in Credit Control
* Experienced in chasing overdue debts
* Proven ability to create excellent relationships
* To be efficient and adaptable to be able to handle variable workloads quickly and effectively
* Good working experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and Sage Line 50
