My client is a large commercial organisation within the manufacturing and production industry sector, with a brilliant reputation in the local area as well as in its chosen market.

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller who is looking to further their career by joining and working within a large team at the head office in Leicester.

Description

The Credit Controller position includes the following duties:

Responsible for pursuing overdue debt on a portfolio of accounts
Authorising release of orders where credit limits have been exceeded or accounts have been placed \"on stop\", in line with pre-determined guidelines
Requesting credit limit increases where appropriate
Liaise with other departments to investigate and resolve queries and disputes causing payment delays
Weekly account reconciliations to minimise unallocated cash
Working on exceeded credit limit and on manual stops reports
Completing tasks in a timely manner in accordance with set deadlines
Calculating and discussing the benefits of Direct Debits and setting up this facility, performing the associated administration
Dealing with a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent and professional customer service at all timesProfile

The successful candidate for the Credit Controller position will include possess the following skills and experience:

A proven background in Credit Control - debt chasing experience is essential to this role
Excellent customer service, time management and telephone skills
Experience of dealing with a high volume of customer accounts and associated call volume
Accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail
Strong negotiator and query resolution ability
Ability to make decisions within designated agreed levels of authority
Proficient in MS Outlook, Word & ExcelJob Offer
