Credit Controller

Description:

A fantastic client of ours based in Southend-On-Sea is seeking a Credit Controller to join their busy team! This is a full time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm, paying £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience and industry knowledge.

Assisting the Finance Manager, your day to day duties as Credit Controller will include but are not limited to:

Banking Allocations across all departments of the business
Producing a daily report reconciling postings against the bank statement
Arrears Recovery - outgoing and incoming calls
Processing card payments
Producing regular debtor reports
General Ad-Hoc duties as instructed by the Finance Manager
Account/Dispute resolution
Invoicing
General account administration
Handling general leasehold enquiries over the phone and in writingThe successful candidate for this Credit Controller position must:

Have experience working in a similar role within the Insurance or Property industries
Be a confident user of Microsoft packages including Excel and other related programmes
Have a can-do attitude and good telephone manner
Be capable of meeting deadlines and dealing with large work volumes
Be able to prioritise workloads and manage your time effectively
