Immediate opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join an established business

The Company

An opportunity for an experienced Credit Control specialist is available for a 3-6 months temporary contract based in Bridgnorth to work as part of the Finance Team. Although this is a temporary contract, there will be a strong possibility of permanency for the right candidate.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will include:

  • Liaising with customers by telephone and email to resolve outstanding debt
  • Opening new accounts and agreeing, setting and monitoring credit limits
  • Posting and allocating of cash across multiple currencies
  • Maintain good relations with customers and internal departments at all times
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts and bank reconciliations
  • Ensure all queries are resolved in a timely manner to maximise debt recovery - supply copy invoices, sending credit notes, etc
  • Sending out monthly statements

Personal Profile

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller, who can offer a solid understanding of debt recovery and sales ledger maintenance, having already worked in a similar role. You will be required to interact at all levels of the business, and will have excellent communications skills, with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced business.
