Credit Controller - Global Company - Excellent Opportunity

My client a global software solutions company are seeking a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

Hours of work: 9am -5pm - Hybrid working available

Location: Very close to London Bridge/ Southwark train station

Job:

You will be responsible for collecting the monies owed in a timely fashion in the line with the customers' agreements, minimizing aged debt and bad debt. You will be liaising with key teams across the US and Europe maintaining a customer centric approach for both internal and external stakeholders.

Managing the Accounts Receivables inboxes

Production of customer statements and dunning letters

Proactively contacting clients to ensure payments are incoming and to chase overdues

Preparation and execution of approved direct debit runs

Allocation of credit notes

Prompt follow up with customers receipts with no remittance advice

Maintain an accurate and up to date query log, resolution of queries working with Sales and the rest of the business as necessary

Regular reporting on collections. Monitor and reduce aged debt.

Reconcile customer accounts.

Person:

Membership of Chartered Institute Credit Management (CICM) is highly desirable

Significant experience in a high volume AR environment

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel

Well organised and ability to adhere to deadlines and timetables, ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments at once

Collaborative and proactive

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Customer centric, able to build relationship within the business and with customers

Track record of improving and modernizing processes

Solutions oriented with natural problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail
