My client, a successful consumer brand based in Manchester is looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to cover a fixed term contract, in their Finance team. If you have recent experience working as a Credit Controller, possess strong excel skills and available to start work immediately, then please get in touch!

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting into Finance Manager, to assist in the companies credit control procedures

Manage outstanding customer sales ledger balances

Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email or letters

Provide information for month end reports

Prepare Month end customer statements

Liaise with other departments, sales order team to ensure all customer queries, are resolved in a timely manner

Maintain accurate and up to date customer details and account records

Ensure all cash receipts are posted and allocated

Review and release were necessary all held orders

Highlight problem accounts, as well as changes to payment patterns

Adoc support to the Finance Manager

Skills Required:

Good GCSE's grades C and above

Must have recent experience working in a similar credit control role

Intermediate/Advanced Excel is essential

Proficient in microsoft office

Good standard of numeracy

Excellent attention to detail

Strong communication & organisational skills to communicate at all levels

Ability to recognise potential risks

Professional and efficient telephone manner

Accurate recording of all information

Must have a flexible, proactive approach to teamwork

Ability to prioritise and manage varying workload

Experience on SAP would be preferable

Must be available to start work immediately

Company Benefits:

Salary £23k

Flexible working hours (8 hours per day), home based role

Friday 1pm finish


24 days holiday + bank holidays

Induction will be office based (with social distancing in place)
