Credit Controller/Book Keeper
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing company based in Wigston. Due to this we are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller /Book Keeper to work within a small team. We are looking for someone who works well as part of a team, is self-motivated with an outgoing positive attitude and committed to fulfilling the business objectives.
The role as a Credit Controller/Book Keeper is to be completed part time 30 hours per week 4 days a between Monday -Friday. Flexibility will be required to work these hours.
As a Credit Controller/Book Keeper your main responsibilities and duties will be :-
Inputting on Sage 200:
* Sales ledger
* Purchase Ledger
* Bank receipts/payments
* Foreign currencies
* Intercompany transactions
* VAT returns
* Payroll/PAYE/NIC
* Reconciliations of bank and other balances
* Manage over 200 accounts, ensuring all stay within their credit terms (Credit Control)
The Ideal Person will have:
* At least 2-3 years demonstrable experience in a similar role
* The ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a small team
* A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
* Effective planning skills, be aware of time critical tasks and the ability to balance workloads and provide seamless support
* Problem solving skills, efficiency and willingness to learn
* Good communication skills both written and verbal
* Excellent Customer skills
* Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Good IT skills, particularly Excel
* Experience of using Sage 200 or Sage 50 (not essential as training can be given)
20 days annual leave plus all bank holidays - (pro rata for part-time working)
