A highly regarded Insurance Company in Birmingham City Centre has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Credit Control Team Manager to join them in a role combing people management with technical credit control responsibilities. This forward thinking company offers full flexibility to work from home or in the office or a combination of both during and after the pandemic.

This is a key position for the business to drive processes and implement changes within the company during a time of continual business improvement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily oversight of a team of credit control technicians
  • Leading a team of 5-8 cash collectors/cash allocators.
  • Overseeing the teams daily activity, ensuring that best practice is understood and followed.
  • Organising regular catch ups with the team and key stakeholders.
  • Triaging daily queries.
  • Understand monthly reporting requirements and own their timely/accurate production.
  • Assisting in executing Senior Managements vision for change and process improvements with in the respective teams/department.
  • Daily credit control technical processing;
  • Monthly bank reconciliations/financial accounting;
  • Active management of aged debts, unallocated cash, internal and external queries;

To be considered you must have team management experience within a credit control environment, experience within insurance would be beneficial but not essential.
