We are one of the largest privately-owned installers of fire and security systems in the South East and due to our continued expansion, we seek an experienced Credit Control Team Leader to join and lead an already established finance team of 12.
We are looking for a competent individual who has a proven track record of managing, motivating, and coaching a team of credit controllers, with an excellent level of IT and communication skills.
You will be articulate, presentable, enthusiastic, well organised, and have great attention to detail. Ideal candidates will come from a service provider-based environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Supervise a team of 12 credit controllers across two locations.
* Ensure a consistent high level of quality service standards are provided to our customers by the team.
* Lead and manage the team to achieve all individual, team and business KPI's, including cash collection, debtor days, aged debt percentage.
* To conduct weekly review of team ledgers.
* Responsible for ongoing training and coaching of the credit control team.
* Oversee day-to-day teams' operation and performance.
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to the below:
* Report weekly on the performance of the team against their KPI's.
* Responsible for the preparation of monthly credit control team ledgers and the allocation of the ledgers.
* Investigation of complex customer queries.
* Collaboratively work with the other departments to improve our customer's experience.
* Implement and develop credit & collection processes and policies, ensuring that such procedures are being followed by all members of the team.
* Overall responsibility for the daily bank receipt process.
* Do regular performance evaluation providing feedback and coaching to improve team performance.

The starting salary is £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
Working hours between 8:30 am - 5.00 pm Monday - Friday, 20 days holiday per year which also increases by an additional day per year of service and an additional day for a good sickness record.
