The Credit Control Supervisor is responsible for managing the incoming cashflows of the business. This role will oversee all debts owed to the company from existing customers and will also manage new requests for credit.

Day to day duties are varied but will include ensuring timely payments are made by customers, processing incoming funds, resolving account queries, and reconciling invoices when necessary. The Credit Control Supervisor will also be key in evaluating new credit requests, including checking credit ratings, and advising on credit limits.

Reporting to the Management Accountant the Credit Control Supervisor will work closely with senior Finance staff to deliver an accurate and efficient credit control service. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure the smooth running of accounts and is a key figure in supporting the financial functions of the business.

The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

* Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors

* Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers' credit rankings with banks

* Setting up of terms and conditions of credit

* Ensuring timely payment of debts

* Negotiating re-payment plans

* Responding to relevant client enquiries

* Supervising the activities of the other Credit Controllers in the team

* Preparation of statements, client status reports and all relevant information as required

* Completing the monthly reporting for the sales ledger

* Reviewing current processes within credit control and updating to create efficiencies and ensure suitable controls are in place

* Processing and reconciliation of invoices when necessary

* Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems when necessary
