Description:

Credit Control Supervisor required for a Global manufacturing business based between Bournemouth and Poole. You will maintain the debtor ledger ensuring overdue debt is kept to a minimum and investigate and provide explanations for any 60-day plus debt.

This role will involve all aspects of credit control including:

• Maintaining a Bad debt schedule
• Chasing overdue accounts by telephone and email
• Dealing with all account queries and problems
• Sending out copy invoices and statements
• Allocating payments to accounts
• Setting up new customers
• Credit checks on customers when required
• Line management of AR team member
• Approvals
• Any other ad hoc duties

Knowledge Required

• 5+ year's prior experience in a credit controller role, with a thorough understanding of all aspects of credit control.
• Personal Specification/Essential Qualities:
• Attention to detail
• Organized
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Good negotiation skills
